The Catalyst 100 program brings together leaders who are invested in the long-term growth of Tyler and the surrounding community. The sessions inform the leaders regarding issues that affect our community for the next 100 years, bring them together so established leaders can share their experience with emerging leaders, and present opportunities for impact.
Catalyst 100 hosts four sessions per season between September and May. Each session features a topic that could affect the community long-term. Some examples of past topics include water supply, autonomous vehicles, social media and its correlation to shifts in population behavior, and more. Members are also invited to join a small group and meet after each session to discuss possible next steps and collaborations. Membership in Catalyst 100 is by nomination and costs $225, annually. Can I apply to join Catalyst 100?
No, Catalyst 100 participants are selected by committee. Nominations are made from Catalyst 100 members, the Leadership Tyler Board of Directors, and the Catalyst 100 Executive Committee.
The committee looks for individuals who are a driver to the success of Tyler, but who are also all individuals that have exhibited a willingness to share with others.
Do I have to be a graduate of a Leadership Tyler program to participate?
No, although this is a Leadership Tyler program, Catalyst 100 participants include members of the community, both LT and non-LT grads alike.
